Our History

Noori Welfare Foundation (NWF) was established with a heartfelt commitment to serve humanity by supporting the most vulnerable members of society. The Foundation was born from the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and equal access to basic necessities, regardless of their social or economic circumstances.

The idea behind NWF emerged after witnessing the daily hardships faced by orphaned children, widows, persons with disabilities, and families living in poverty. These challenges inspired a group of dedicated humanitarian volunteers to create an organisation that would not only provide emergency assistance but also invest in long-term, sustainable solutions that empower communities.

From its earliest days, Noori Welfare Foundation has remained committed to the principles of compassion, integrity, accountability, and transparency. Every project we undertake is designed to restore hope, strengthen families, and create opportunities that enable people to build brighter and more secure futures.

Today, NWF continues to grow as a trusted humanitarian organisation, working with donors, volunteers, community leaders, and development partners to deliver meaningful and lasting change across Pakistan.

How We Started

Our journey began with a simple mission: to help those who had nowhere else to turn.

Initially, our activities focused on providing emergency food assistance, educational support for orphaned children, and financial aid for widows struggling to support their families. As we worked closely with communities, we realised that poverty is often interconnected with inadequate healthcare, unsafe drinking water, poor housing, unemployment, and limited educational opportunities.

This understanding encouraged us to expand our programmes beyond emergency relief and adopt a more holistic approach to community development. Today, our work includes:
